Love Comes from God

Dear friends, we should love each other, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has become God?s child and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love to us: He sent his one and only Son into the world so that we could have life through him. 10 This is what real love is: It is not our love for God; it is God?s love for us in sending his Son to be the way to take away our sins.

Romans 8:5. And this hope will never disappoint us, because God has poured out his love to fill our hearts. He gave us his love through the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to us.

God?s Love in Christ Jesus
31 So what should we say about this? If God is with us, no one can defeat us. 32 He did not spare his own Son but gave him for us all. So with Jesus, God will surely give us all things. 33 Who can accuse the people God has chosen? No one, because God is the One who makes them right. 34 Who can say God?s people are guilty? No one, because Christ Jesus died, but he was also raised from the dead, and now he is on God?s right side, begging God for us. 35 Can anything separate us from the love Christ has for us? Can troubles or problems or sufferings or hunger or nakedness or danger or violent death? 36 As it is written in the Scriptures: ?For you we are in danger of death all the time. People think we are worth no more than sheep to be killed.? Psalm 44:22 37 But in all these things we have full victory through God who showed his love for us. 38 Yes, I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor ruling spirits, nothing now, nothing in the future, no powers, 39 nothing above us, nothing below us, nor anything else in the whole world will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I could sing of His love forver and ever. I love doing this stuff.

JOHN 13:34?And so I am giving a new commandment to you now?love each other just as much as I love you. 35 Your strong love for each other will prove to the world that you are my disciples.?

JOHN 14:15-16?If you love me, obey me; and I will ask the Father and he will give you another Comforter, and he will never leave you. 17He is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit who leads into all truth. The world at large cannot receive him, for it isn?t looking for him and doesn?t recognize him. But you do, for he lives with you now and some day shall be in you. 18 No, I will not abandon you or leave you as orphans in the storm?I will come to you. 19 In just a little while I will be gone from the world, but I will still be present with you. For I will live again?and you will too. 20 When I come back to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. 21 The one who obeys me is the one who loves me; and because he loves me, my Father will love him; and I will too, and I will reveal myself to him.?

JOHN14:23 Jesus replied, ?Because I will only reveal myself to those who love me and obey me. The Father will love them too, and we will come to them and live with them. 24Anyone who doesn?t obey me doesn?t love me. And remember, I am not making up this answer to your question! It is the answer given by the Father who sent me.

Matthew :43 ?You have heard that it was said, ?Love your neighbor and hate your enemies.? 44 But I say to you, love your enemies. Pray for those who hurt you. 45 If you do this, you will be true children of your Father in heaven. He causes the sun to rise on good people and on evil people, and he sends rain to those who do right and to those who do wrong. 46 If you love only the people who love you, you will get no reward. Even the tax collectors do that. 47 And if you are nice only to your friends, you are no better than other people. Even those who don?t know God are nice to their friends. 48 So you must be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
